The Feast of St. John

On the feast of the Order's Patron, St. John the Baptist, Pope John Paul II received in audience H.M.E.H. the Prince and Grand Master, Fra' Andrew Bertie, with members of the Sovereign Council elected in the Chapter General of 25-26 April; members of the Order's Embassy to the Holy See were also present. Members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Order attended mass in the Church of St. Mary in the Magistral Villa on the Aventine Hill for the Feast of St. John on 24 June. H.M.E.H. the Prince and Grand Master, members of the Sovereign Council, the Prelate of the Order, Chaplains and numerous Dames and Knights participated in the religious ceremony, officiated by Cardinal Pio Laghi, Cardinalis Patronus of the Order.
