On 24th June, for the occasion of the Feast of St. John the Baptist, Patron of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, H.M.E.H. the Prince and Grand Master, Fra' Andrew Bertie, with the members of the Sovereign Council and the Prelate, Msgr. Donato de Bonis, attended the Solemn Mass concelebrated by H.E. Cardinal Pio Laghi,
Cardinalis Patronus of the Order, in the Magistral Church of St. Mary on the Aventine Hill, with the Order's Chaplains and the members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the
Sovereign Order.
At the end of the religious ceremony, the ambassadors with their consorts and members of the Diplomatic Missions greeted the Prince and Grand Master and the Grand Chancellor ad interim, Count Carlo Marullo di Condojanni, expressing their best wishes for the Order's hospitaller activities and humanitarian action world-wide.
